The small and unassuming town of Bectoile hides many secrets. Caroline, Lucie’s mother, grew up in the area and, together with her friend Pierrot, is investigating one of them: an abandoned castle.
Her quick-witted daughter Lucie is not far behind, determined to solve the mystery of her grandfather’s disappearance. Could it be connected to a notorious fire that happened years ago — and to the mysterious healer living in the forest who is said to cure animals?
To find out, Lucie will need more than eyes in the back of her head. She joins forces with Yann, a teenage boy from the neighbourhood, listens closely to the ever-present blue tits, and digs through old newspaper archives. This is one summer she will remember for the rest of her life!
